Who was Ruth Suckow? 1892-1960
Who was Ruth Suckow? 1892-1960
She was born & raised in Iowa and wrote about the people who lived in the small towns and farms of Iowa in the early 1900s. She married writer, artist & critic Ferner Nuhn and they traveled extensively throughout the country, returning to Cedar Falls, Iowa. After her death, her husband established the Ruth Suckow Memorial Association to make sure that future generations could enjoy her writing.
She was born & raised in Iowa and wrote about the people who lived in the small towns and farms of Iowa in the early 1900s.
